A 30-year veteran and leader within the financial services industry, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to StraightLine. He first served StraightLine in the capacity of a strategic consultant starting in October 2022 and officially joined the firm full-time in July 2023.
Prior to joining the firm, Rob spent 25 years at TIAA, a Fortune 100 financial service firm, where he rose to a senior leadership role as Managing Director and Head of TIAA’s Advisor Services. It was here that he successfully built and managed a platform for the distribution of retirement, life insurance, and annuity products through registered investment advisors. He is recognized in the industry as a pioneer in the development and delivery of independent fiduciary advice solutions to employees in higher education and not-for-profit retirement plans.

StraightLine, and many of StraightLine’s clients were direct benefactors of Rob’s vision and hard work as he played an instrumental role in their ability to manage employee retirement accounts at institutions such as Michigan State University.
Early in his career, Rob was a financial advisor for a leading mutual fund company. He is passionate about personal finance, financial wellness, and coaching individuals to help them achieve their financial and life goals. He earned an M.B.A. in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business, and B.A. in Economics from Long Island University. Rob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner.
On the personal side, Rob lives and plays in Long Island, New York with his wife Christie, son Jason, and daughter Jessica. Together, they enjoy the Long Island lifestyle of beaches and boating, the cultural benefits of living near New York City, and the beauty and serenity of upstate New York’s Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains.
