As a founding member and Chief Investment Strategist of SkyView Investment Advisors, Andy develops global economic framework analyses and investment strategy. He also focuses on business strategy supporting the development of bespoke investment solutions focused on meeting the needs of institutional investors. Andy experienced many different capital market cycles as the financial industry encountered major transformative events. Goldman Sachs appointed Andy as a Partner and Management Committee Member. In that role, he co-led the Global Equity and Economic Research Department. Through his efforts, Goldman enhanced their presence in alternative assets. As Director of Global Securities & the Economic Research Division at Merrill Lynch, Andy grew that business from 3 to 25 countries worldwide with a staff of 1400. |
Andy was the longest-serving senior executive in a global management role and mentored a number of highly-ranked investment analysts. Under his leadership, Merrill Lynch earned the Institutional Investor Magazine award for the top US research firm for 7 consecutive years. While at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin, the firm became the leading underwriter of technology companies. Andy also held management and research positions at Drexel Burnham Lambert, BPV Capital, and Woolcott and Company. Andy has a BA and MBA from Rutgers University and is a CFA Charterholder. Andy served as a Signal Corps Officer in the United States Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He brings his insight and expertise to a number of charitable organizations as well as traveling extensively to broaden his global perspective.
