As advisors are recognized by InvestmentNews on its 2026 5-Star Wealth Management Teams list, the award is more than just an industry distinction for StraightLine. As a team, it reflects a collaborative, client-first culture that has existed at the firm from the very beginning.

“This award is a recognition of what has always been true, which is that we work exceptionally well as a team,” said President and CEO Mike Bisaro, AIF®. “In many cases, our collaboration has opened doors to conversations and opportunities we didn’t even realize were there. It’s rewarding to see those relationships continue to grow through true teamwork.”

Bisaro also acknowledged the way StraightLine’s teamwork impacts the client experience, saying, “Clients have access to multiple voices and perspectives, which creates continuity over time. As life changes or team roles evolve, clients don’t have to restart their relationship with StraightLine because multiple people have been part of the conversation from the beginning.”

That continuity was a recurring theme throughout the team’s reflections on what makes StraightLine different. Rather than operating in silos, advisors, operations professionals, researchers, and support staff work together to create a seamless client experience built around communication, education, and long-term relationships.

According to Chief Operating Officer Beth Mosshart, AIF®, “The care that everybody in the office gives to all clients and the clients of the firm is really unique, noticeable, and appreciated.”

“One of the things that I think is most special about this team is that everyone has been around a long time, and the group has a great deal of continuity, and I'm really grateful for that,” Mosshart continued.

She also praised the team’s adaptability and shared experience, noting that, “There’s an advantage to having people who have been working together for a long time. Even as certain processes change and evolve, you can always find someone on the team that has filled out that same kind of form or done that process.”

Financial Advisor Michael Rice, AIF®, shared a recent example involving StraightLine’s Chief Growth Officer, Rob Rickey, CFP®, that highlighted the value of the firm’s collaborative approach.

“I asked Rob if he could join a meeting with a specific client, who is kind of a finance groupie,” Rice said. “This client is really interested in what happens, where the money goes, and the why behind our plans and actions. Rob and I each talked over every step with him. Overall, this client came away very comforted and confident that he was on the right path, feeling especially assured that he heard similar things from both myself and Rob.”

Although the advisory team was officially recognized, many of them emphasized the importance of StraightLine’s broader support structure.

“StraightLine was designed and set up for a seamless team approach,” explained Vice President Jason Fisher, AIF®. “Our research department is our lifeline. Because of their behind-the-scenes work, we advisors get to spend more time with clients without feeling the need to rush.”

Financial Advisor Zach Rivard, MS-PFP, CFP®, AIF®, echoed that sentiment, explaining, “It’s nice having the ability to focus on one thing at a time, knowing that you have that wealth of knowledge behind you handling areas you might not have as much experience in, instead of having to juggle so many balls at once.”

As one of the newer advisors on the StraightLine team, Kyle Zammit, AIF®, ChFC®, said one of the most valuable aspects of the firm’s culture is the support system surrounding each advisor.

“Knowing that you can always lean on somebody else and have backup when needed is nice to know,” Zammit shared. “The reassurance of knowing there will always be someone that you can talk to that is a master at answering a question that you may be asking, especially for someone in my shoes as a newer advisor, is always really helpful.”
